First Tap Sap

I make all my paint by hand, using the highest quality pigments in the world. (I know a place.) This watercolor includes coral red and Burgundy yellow ochre among other rare pigments. Making my own paint allows to be in full control how the edges meet, sweeping minerals into place, the washes making the surface feel like stone. This piece is particularly luminous. I was thinking of television and it’s distilleries, the drainage of blank thought.
